Single storey vaulted extension to cottage in a conservation area.

Single storey extension with vaulted ceiling and North light, to create a gallery space and reading room looking over new courtyards to front and rear. There was an extensive bespoke joinery package internally and externally. Internally this created flexible space to hang paintings on sliding screens and a variety of interesting framed places to sit and look over the courtyards. Whilst outside the use of cedar on the ground and façade, and for features like window boxes and screens gave continuity and warmth and allowed the garden to be brought right up to the house.
